Service Type: Education Psycho-Social Services2

Servizz Għożża is a service within the Directorate for Educational Services that offers support to young mothers, their partners and parents.

Child Safety Services (CSS) specializes in dealing with issues of child abuse, and legally ‘a child’ refers to anyone under the age of 18.

The service is made up of a number of guidance teachers who are responsible for all schools around Malta and Gozo.

The Anti-Bullying Service forms part of the Safe Schools Programme in the Education Psycho-Social Services within the National School Support Services Department.

During the last few years, the Directorate for Educational Services (DES) has employed a number of professionals in order to provide career guidance within the state colleges. 

The school Counselling Service exists to promote and improve mental health and emotional wellbeing to learners of compulsory school age.
